Key dates

  • From mid-July 2026: Moneyhub says the WPS opt-in process begins.
  • End of August 2026: current deadline to opt in or log in if you want to move to WPS.
  • 23 September 2026: Clara launches in the UK.

What is happening to Moneyhub?

Moneyhub's current notice says WPS Advisory will take over management of the consumer app. People who opt in can continue using the same underlying Moneyhub platform under WPS.

Moneyhub says the opt-in process starts from mid-July 2026. If you do not opt in or log in by the end of August, Moneyhub will treat that as a decision not to move. It says those users will be offered an export before their accounts and data are permanently deleted.

You do not have to switch to Clara. Read Moneyhub's latest notice, compare the options, and choose the service that fits you.

Export your Moneyhub data before the deadline

Do this early and keep the file somewhere secure. Do not wait until your account is due to be deleted.

  1. Open Transactions in Moneyhub.
  2. Select the cloud icon.
  3. Use the dropdown filters if you only want a particular account, category, or date range.
  4. Choose Email as Attachment or Begin Download.
  5. Save the resulting CSV file somewhere secure.

Keep the CSV as your personal archive. Clara does not currently advertise a Moneyhub CSV import, so joining Clara should not be treated as a transfer of your old Moneyhub history.

Moneyhub and Clara FAQ

Is Clara live yet?

No. Clara is prelaunch and is due to launch on 23 September 2026. Joining the early-access list does not start a subscription.

When can I use Clara?

Clara launches on 23 September 2026. Some people may receive an early-access invitation before launch, but an invitation is not guaranteed.

How much will Clara cost?

Clara has a Free plan. Clara Plus costs £4.99 a month or £39.99 a year. Clara Pro costs £9.99 a month or £79.99 a year.

Is my data safe with Clara?

Clara uses read-only bank connections, never receives your bank login details, and cannot move money or make payments. Read the Security and Privacy pages for the full details.

How does read-only bank access work?

You approve the connection with your bank. Clara then receives supported account and transaction data, but the connection does not let Clara move money, make a payment, or change your bank account.

Can Clara import my Moneyhub CSV?

Clara does not currently advertise a Moneyhub CSV import. Keep the export as your personal archive. At launch, Clara will build its view from the bank accounts you choose to connect.

Do I have to leave Moneyhub?

No. Moneyhub now says WPS Advisory will continue the consumer app for users who opt in. Moving is a personal choice, and you should read Moneyhub’s current notice before deciding.
